Linda Metzger is a jewelry artist who splits her time between Santa Monica, California and Cooperstown, New York. She has a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and has recently retired from her practice in Santa Monica. Her career as a psychotherapist has given her the skills to transform improbable combinations into beauty inside and out.

 

A passionate and expert bi-coastal hunter of vintage ephemera and neglected relics, she designs playful treasures that are sometimes humorous, sometimes sophisticated, and always stylish. Her one-of-a-kind jewelry is wearable yet fun, eye catching and elegant. She makes wearable art using a glittering assortment of beads, buttons and found objects. Linda is fascinated by the magic of revealing the hidden art of found objects.

 

Linda is also a world traveler and avid fly fisher which makes her expert at spotting and catching rare and elusive treasures for her creations.
